Not A Love Story is a crime/thriller movie based on the gruesome murder of Neeraj Grover in 2008 that led to the arrest of Emile Jerome and Maria Susairaj. Starring Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie was released on 19 August 2011. Ram Gopal Varma has announced that the film is not a biopic but is inspired by the case.[1][2]

Not A Love Story has been critisized by some movie critics whereas others have praised it. Veteran director Mahesh Bhatt has praised Ram Gopal Varma for his new experiement.

Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is the story of a gang composed of four friends-Rajbir Parvin Dabas, Sexy (Vansh Bharadwaj), Ambani (Ashish Nayyar) and Doctor (Kuldip Ruhil), who are given a job which will give them enough money to make all their dreams come true, but to achieve the same they will have to go against their conscience and the village, Kanjhawla, to which they belong. Goading them on to make this job successful is their boss, Fauji Sharat Saxena, who stands to gain the most from the job’s success and realize his dreams of becoming a politician.

On the road to completing this mission they come across a multitude of crazy characters which includes a guru and his wrestlers,a bunch of smart ass kids, a raging Chief Minister(Kiron Juneja Sippy),a Scheming Businessman(Anupam Kher),the Leader of the villagers(Yashpal Sharma), an angry Aunt(Neena Kulkarni), a college going Athlete (Udit Khurana) and a photographer Girlfriend(Tena Desae) who wants to move on with her life, while dealing with a boss who wants them to break his opponents legs and make mobile videos of it for evidence!

Bubble Gum 2011 Hindi Movie Review:

Right at the interval, the director came at the press show stating that his film Bubble Gum isn’t a children film meant for kids. It’s a film that will appeal to people of all age groups. However, the point remains that with no publicity or any sorts and no face value to the product, his message may fade away in no time. After repeated big budget, big star cast films gracing the cinema halls week on week comes this week that has only the small budget films making it to the theatres. One such among the others is Bubble Gum. Now whether this small film has content enough to pull the masses or not remains to be seen.

Set in the times of 1980s in Jamshedpur when there was no computer, internet chatting, long telephonic conversations, mobile, Bubble Gum is the story of Vedant (Sohail Lakhani), a boy who finding it difficult to deal with his teens. He falls head over heels for a colony girl Jenny (Apoorva Arora) but he also has his rival Ratan (Suraj Singh) who too has the hots for the same girl. During this time Vedant’s brother Vidhur (Delzad Hiravali) comes from his hostel to spend the holidays with his family. Vidhur is a deaf and mute teenager who tries really hard to build a bond with his unruly brother but Vedant considers Vidhur a liability and object of ridicule more than his brother. How the bond between the two brother increases and how Vedant wins over Jenny is what forms the rest of the story.

Bubble Gum definitely isn’t a children film. It talks of the times and challenges we all have gone through in our lives. The days when a small clash with a friend would mean the end of the world, when not getting pocket money was the biggest punishment or even the times when you starting looking at people of the opposite sex from a different viewpoint. Yes, these are the things that this film takes us through. Debutante director Sanjeevan Lal sets the mood of the film just right by establishing the times of the 80s in a small town when there were no Blackberry Messengers, no chat rooms, no Play stations and definitely no mobile phones. The situations he presents onscreen actually remind you of your adolescence. It even has the bitter-sweet clashes between siblings, between parents and children, between friends. It has people using the right accent, the film having the right setting, great detailing right from the type of telephone to the cooker to the parties celebrated by kids, to the love letters.

However, what Bubble Gum misses out on is the correct execution or as people call it, the midas touch. Courtesy a novice attempt, the film fails to establish an emotional connect in the situations when it needs the most. So you don’t feel empathetic for the deaf and mute child. Nor do you feel for the growing up challenges of Vedant. Instead of sticking to the plot and developing it, the director has his film going all over the place with varied situations needless. Had it been for a crisp editing, Bubble Gum could’ve been a delightful watch, but it fails even at that. Music of the film by multiple composers like Hanif Sheikh, Bapi and Tutul is disappointing. Sachin Khedekar and Tanvi Azmi as the parents of Vidhur and Vedant act very well. The two most sorted performances. Sohail delivers a decent performance while Delzad deserves a special mention. For a person deaf and dumb in real life, Delzad does an outstanding job.

To sum it up, Bubble Gum is a small film with a big heart but loses itself for amateurish efforts.

Warning (2011)

If there’s any film that can define unattainable lows it has to be Aagaah The Warning. It’s certainly not easy to make a good film; a lot of efforts are put into it. But it’s amusing to see the efforts put behind to make a cult bad film such as this.

Merging terrorism and horror, Warning is about a Jihadi Azaan Khan (Atul Kulkarni) who’s instilled with the fact that if he dies fighting for his nation he will go to heaven. So he takes up the task of attacking Mumbai and approaches the city via the sea route. The boat that they hijack belongs to an innocent boatman Ramsharan (Karan Razdan) who curses Azaan while dying. So whether it’s the curse of Ramsharan or his own wrong doings, Azaan turns into a spirit and keeps haunting the family of Ramsharan which includes his wife (Rituparna Sen Gupta), his mother (Ila Arun), father (Satish Kaushik) and his daughter (Jannat) only to convey a very important message. Now we cannot reveal that message and take away your fun. So dare to watch it yourself.

I understand that theirs a dearth of plots in horror genre in our nation. I also understand that yearning for which we derive “inspiration” from Korean or Hollywood cinema. But no reason can justify the crime committed by penning a story of Warning. The film is very conveniently divided into two parts, terrorism cum patriotism and horror so while you think of entering into a horror film, the initial first half cheats you with story meandering into terrorist attacks, training camps, jihaad blah blah blah. It’s the second half that has the spooky element with one of the most bizarre connections ever. It is shoddy, amateurish and increasingly annoying to be watching the wrong setting, wrong premise, wrong characterisation and worst still, wrong execution of the wrong doings for a good 2 hours. If there’s anything that’s worth looking out for in this film it surely would be the unintentional humour that you can opt for if you plan to have a gala time with your bunch of friends. But with the multiplex prices touching the sky, I cannot assure you that even this can be a reason good enough to watch this film.

To add to the agony you have the constant hamming of the actors where the director Karan Razdan himself tops the list. He stutters and hams as seen never before in Indian cinema. The effects are very vintage with even the Ramsay brothers doing it better. Music by Sachin Gupta only adds to the agony.

Dear Friend Hitler (Hindi: प्रिय मित्र हिटलर) released in India as Gandhi to Hitler is a multilingual Indian drama film based on letters written by Mahatma Gandhi to the leader of the Nazi Party and Chancellor of Germany Adolf Hitler. The film, starring Raghubir Yadav as Adolf Hitler and Neha Dhupia as Eva Braun, is directed by debuting director Rakesh Ranjan Kumar and produced by Anil Kumar Sharma under the production house Amrapali media vision. It is a first Indian film which featured the life of Hitler and perhaps the first which has adapted a foreign subject. The film's subject caused some controversies, but its promo was screened at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival where it received positive reviews. Film Business Asia quoted that "despite the provocative title, the film is not a tribute to the murderous Führer". The film is schedule to release on July 29, 2011 in India.

The film is set during World War II and centres around the letters written by Mahatma Gandhi (played by Avijit Dutt) to Adolf Hitler (Raghubir Yadav), and around the relationship of Hitler with his long-term lover Eva Braun (Neha Dhupia), whom he married in his final days in the Berlin bunker in which they died. The film depicts the difference between the ideologies of Gandhi and Hitler and establishes the superiority of Gandhism over Nazism.

13B (Yavarum Nalam) (2009)

Yavarum Nalam is a 2009 Indian horror film directed by Vikram Kumar, starring R. Madhavan and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. Produced by Suresh Balaje and George Pius, the film was simultaneously filmed and released in Tamil and also Hindi as 13B with a slightly different cast. The film's soundtrack was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and background score by Tubby Parik. The film was released on 6 March 2009.

Manohar, an upper-middle class Indian, moves into a new apartment - 13B on the 13th floor - with his family, fulfilling one of his life's biggest dreams. But the family is greeted by a series of small trivial incidents such as milk getting spoiled that could be regarded as inauspicious but are shrugged off by the excited Manohar. The lift in the apartment does not operate for Manohar.

The women in the family get hooked on to a new TV show Yavarum Nalam (Everyone Is Well, or Sab Khairiyat in the Hindi version). The show is about a family eerily similar to theirs who have also just moved into a new house just like they have. As the serial unfolds, Manohar notices that the incidents that happen in the serial are a reflection of what has happened to Manohar and his family. The serial mirrors Manohar's family life. For example, his sister graduating first-class, his wife getting pregnant and later suffering a miscarriage. The rest of the family remains oblivious to the similarities and Manohar prefers it that way to avoid panic.

As Manohar fights the uneasy feeling in his mind, things start taking a turn for the worse in the serial. He is now terrified that the same might happen to his family as well. Manohar now wants to know who is behind the making of this serial and what their intentions are. As Manohar explores the mysterious happenings, he unravels a deep and unholy secret.

The house they live in was the house where a whole family of eight were murdered way back in 1977. It was the family of a TV news reader named Chitra. On the day of Chitra's engagement an ardent fan (Shriram Shinde in the 13B version) of Chitra wanted to stop the engagement and he failed in doing so. Disheartened, he committed suicide. Subsequently, all members of that family were murdered with a hammer in a single day. The blame rested on the crazy brother in the family, as he had been seen with the hammer last. The police officer investigating the case also committed suicide by hanging himself in the same house.

Now Manohar and his friend, Shiva (Murli Sharma), who is a policeman, are in the process of unraveling the mystery. Manohar researches the madman Senthil/Ashok, who apparently goes crazy after seeing the TV show in an asylum. Manohar then meets Senthil, who extends a hand for Manohar but drags him inside, but his friend Shiva keeps him from being dragged. They then met Chitra's former fiance Ramchandar, who tries to plead for Senthil's innocence because he got covered in blood while he hugged the bodies, failed in the case.

After researching one night, Manohar has a nightmare of the 13B murderer climbing the stairs to kill his family. When Manohar tries to climb the stairs, he always ends up on the 2nd floor and after a few moments he wakes up. He then goes to the hall and witnesses the climax of Yavarum Nalam/Sab Kheriyat when they are showing the murderer's identity; he sees two hammers, one pointed hammer and a blunt sledge-hammer, then showing Manohar's face as the killer.

What follows is the climax that ties up all the loose ends. The 13B murderer is Dr Balu/Dr Shinde, who sees the family members' faces as serial family members. Manohar kills him.

The story ends with Manohar living a normal life with a new dog in the family; the milk is not getting spoiled anymore. They bring Senthil/Ashok home and the lift in the apartment finally works for Manohar. Manohar receives a call from Dr Balu/Dr Shinde while in the lift, who says that while the 13B family haunts the TV, he haunts Manohar's phone.

So all the society members and the society secretary take a decision to make Bhidu out of the society. The "jewel thief" stands for the right of Fatku and Bhidu to live in the society.

Aisha (Hindi: आयेशा) is a 2010 Hindi language romantic comedy film directed by Rajshree Ojha and starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles. Aisha (Sonam Kapoor) is a girl with a simple problem - she has to take others problems into her own hands; and match-making amongst her friends in particular. She is constantly criticized by her friend/neighbor Arjun (Abhay Deol) who advises her to stop meddling with others lives. She is unperturbed and carries on. She tries to make a match between her small town friend Shefali (Amrita Puri) and Randhir (Cyrus Sahukar). While at a party Aisha realizes her jealousy over Arjun. After the party Arjun and Dhruv get a drink and talk about Aisha, Dhruv tries to act like he is in love with Aisha and insults Arjun. Arjun punches Dhruv and hurts him. She fails in her attempts and in the due course, she tries to match up Shefali with Dhruv (Arunoday Singh) until one day she realizes that love does not come by force. She loses her friend Pinky (Ira Dubey) due to her actions who in the end falls in love with Randhir (Cyrus Sahukar). Shefali finds her love in Saurabh (an old friend). Aisha decides to go to Mumbai with Shefali and Dhruv. Shefali thinks that Arjun loves her and Aisha and Shefali have a fight. Shefali tells Aisha of how she had been treating her. She realizes that she had been selfish and arrogant all along, and has mistreated her friends. Finally, she goes back to her best friend (Pinky) and apologizes for her actions. She realizes that she was in love with Arjun; but finds it difficult to express. In the end, she finds the courage and expresses her love to Arjun. The movie ends in a good note with everyone finding their love.

Patiala House (Hindi: पटियाला हॉउस) is a 2011 Hindi family drama / sports film directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. The movie is about Gattu (Akshay Kumar) who is living the life his father chose for him. When Gattu was young, racism was a big issue. On his birthday, the Whites broke his home window and yelled "We don't want you in our country." At this point, his father, Gurtej Singh Kahlon (Rishi Kapoor)had become fed up with the Whites, and grabbed a pot and almost hit one of the Whites with it. He was arrested soon after, but then released. A few weeks later, Gattu's uncle was killed in a racial attack. This changed Gattu's father, and made him a kind of leader in the predominately asian area of Southall in West London. He made a lot of changes that stopped racism where he lived. Gattu had always listened to his father, which made his siblings resent him.They were not allowed to do what they wanted, and had to be very traditional Sikhs. Gattu had always been good at cricket, though his dad would never let him become a member of the British team. When tryouts come out, Gattu's siblings convinced him to tryout. If he gets on the team, their father might be able to realize that the world isn't as racist anymore as it used to be. They are able to hide the fact the Gattu is on the team, but their father eventually finds out. Seeing his son on a team he despises gave Gurtej heart failure, and he ends up in the E.R. He disgraces Gattu, but Gattu still plays cricket anyway. He is deeply hurt to be disgraced by his father, but he also loves cricket, and hopes to change his father. The people of Southall all come together, and try to convince Gurtej that it is okay to be a cricket player for England. He locks himself inside the house, but his wife is still with him. She tells him that she has never acted as a mother, only a wife, and she often forgot she was both. She turned on the T.V., wanting to see her son fulfill his dream. Gurtej watches with her, and realizes how badly he has treated his son. The family comes back in the house, and Gurtej requests for one of them to drive him to the stadium. Gattu is playing poorly, because he is so upset that his father disgraced him. Only at the last ball of the game, Gattu manages to win the championship for England. His father compares his bowling to Late Lala Amar Nath. His father apologizes to him, and all Gattu's siblings are now able to pursue their dreams.

Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap (earlier titled Buddah), is a 2011 Hindi film directed by Puri Jagannadh. GAME (2011) Hindi Film

Game (Hindi: गेम) is a 2011 Hindi action film directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut, Sarah-Jane Dias, Shahana Goswami, Boman Irani and Jimmy Shergill among others.

The film is a stylish action thriller and is shot at locations in Mumbai, Greece, Istanbul, London and Bangkok. It is said to be in the same type of genre as the Bourne Identity trilogy. The theatrical trailer was premièred in theatres with Anees Bazmee's No Problem on December 10, 2010. The film was released on 1 April 2011.


Kabir Malhotra (Anupam Kher) is a billionaire tycoon who invites four different people at his island home in Greece. Neil Menon (Abhishek Bachchan), a Malayalee casino owner in Turkey; Vikram Kapoor (Jimmy Shergill), an actor who killed a lady in drunken driving; OP Ramsay (Boman Irani), a political leader and Tisha Khanna (Shahana Goswami), a crime journalist. Malhotra says he has evidence for all of their wrong doings and they would be arrested by the International Vigilance Squad (IVS)). But Malhotra commits suicide in his room. Sia Agnihotri (Kangna Ranaut), who comes in from the IVS starts her investigation and suspects one of Malhotra's guests have had murdered him for Malhotra had evidence against them. Sia puts all of Malhotra's guests under surveillance but she is told by her boss to leave the case. The story then twists and turns which would certainly make the viewer's experience the thrill and suspense as the real killer comes into the limelight.

Shaitan (2011)

Shaitan is a 2011 Hindi thriller film, directed by Bejoy Nambiar starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiya , Shiv Pandit, Neil Bhoopalam, Kirti Kulhari, Rajit Kapoor, Pawan Malhotra and Raj Kumar Yadav. The film was released on June 10, 2011.

The film starts off with Amy, who is a mentally disturbed girl deeply affected by the attempted suicide and eventual institutionalization of her mother. She moves from Los Angeles to Mumbai, where she meets KC (Gulshan Devaiya). KC introduces her to his gang - Dash (Shiv Pandit), Zubin (Neil Bhoopalam) and Tanya (Kirti Kulhari). They lead the particularly directionless life of Indian youngsters, having fun drinking, using drugs and driving around in a Hummer and on one such occasion, they run over 2 people in a scooter. They quickly leave but are traced down by a slimy cop, who demands 25 lakhs to make the case go away. They hatch a plot to kidnap Amy, who volunteers to be kidnapped. The event quickly turns into a media circus, which puts pressure on the youngsters who go on a gruesome and disturbing killing spree. KC kills a man who attempts to rape Tanya, then nearly kills Tanya herself when he thinks she called the police, while she had actually called her sister. Zubin, who has feelings for Tanya, escapes from the group after seeing a bloodied, unconscious Tanya and is eventually arrested by the police. He confesses everything and the police trace down the slimy cop, who is nearly killed in the chase. Then using technology, they trace down Dash, KC and Amy to a church. KC had called his father to help them out (which led to cops to the church), but Dash disagrees with him and Dash eventually kills KC after their disagreement turns into a bloody fight. Dash himself is then killed by the now high-on-cocaine Amy, who has a violent flashback about her dead mother trying to drown her (while she was a kid), while Dash holds her down in the church. She then stabs Dash to his death, ending the mayhem. Another parallel story line is the life of the cop played by Rajeev Khandelwal, who nearly divorces his wife but gets back together with her as the story progresses and eventually ends. He plays the role of an uptight cop who is not hesitant to be bad to get good done, and on one such occasion, he nearly kills a person and is suspended because of it.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011)

Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a 2011 (Hindi: प्यार का पंचनामा, Urdu: پیار کا پنچنامہ) Hindi film directed by debutant Luv Rajan released on 20 May 2011.

Pyar Ka Punchnama revolves around three friends- Rajat(known as Rajo), Vikrant(known as Chaudhari) and Nishant(known as liquid) who live in Noida, work for different IT firms. The movie deals with their lives after each of them get involved with girls.

Liquid is shown as a short-tempered guy who is frustrated with his work life. Rajat is the first one to find love, and soon gets into live-in relationship with Neha, who keeps it a secret from her parents. Chaudhari who plays guitar extremely well, finds companionship with Rhea, a Delhi College of Engineering pass out after he recommends her for a job. Liquid becomes infatuated with Charu who works with him in office. He proposes to her but finds out she already has a boyfriend. Post which they both become just good friends. Life seems fun for the three friends with their share of love.

This happiness is but an illusion. Rajat finds Neha manipulative and dominating and finds himself trapped. Rhea keeps on hanging to her past relationship which leads to tension in Chaudhari's life. Charu uses Liquid for his money and makes him do her office work.

Rajat meets Neha's parents but they both have a confrontation after that. Neha tells Rajat that she has decided to get married to a boy suggested by her parents. Rajat breaks down in front of her, desperately in love and wanting to salvage the relationship. However, he finds out that Neha was lying and was just using to prove the fact that they should be together. Rajat gets deeply hurt by this and leaves Neha saying that she isn't good enough for him.

Chaudhari finds out that Rhea is still sleeping with her ex and breaks up with her whereas Liquid is publicly humiliated in office by Charu. She calls him a dog who huffs after her and that even if she breaks off with her boyfriend, she will never marry such a loser. Liquid breaks down. Rajat and Chaudhari take him to Charu's apartment where he slaps her boyfriend and feels relieved.

In the end, it is shown that Neha finds another guy who is shown walking behind her in a mall carrying shopping bags. Charu finds another colleague to do her office work. Rhea is shown with a new boyfriend too.

Meanwhile Rajat, Chaudhari and Liquid go back to their fun life. In the end, Chaudhari asks Liquid, why he slapped Charu's boyfriend and not Charu herself. To which Liquid replies laughing, "I had to hit him. I just had to hit him".

Prem Kapoor (Salman Khan) and his family are proceeding a marriage for their neighbors daughter Khushi (Zarine Khan). She was going to marry Gaurav (Arbaaz Khan ), instead she runs away with Prem to marry her true love Raju (Ajay Devgn). Then Sanjana (Asin). Prem is sent to the airport to pick up his future wife, but Prem being Prem, he waits at the wrong terminal so he can make excuses to his family that she never showed up. However, Sanjana is on the runaway from her mafioso family who are forcefully getting her married. Her family are two duelling uncles trying to get her married to either of the two brother-in-laws because of the assets she inherited from her parents who have passed away. She overhears Prem's plan and pretends to be Pooja (which Prem does not know since he has never seen the real Pooja). Eventually Prem finds out but till then he has fallen in love with Sanjana and hides that she is not the real Pooja from his family. Later on, his family gets to know of this and is scared since her family is from a mafia background. Prem concocts a plan to better Sanjana's family and make the dueling uncles get along. Prem's family supports him and plays characters to trick Sanjana's family. Due to all of this planning and confusion, the film is filled with laughter.
